But why can't they get the cards to share 256mb of memory. All the information is duplicated anyways right?

This makes so much more sense to me than buying two cards. I'm kind of wondering when nVidia and ATi go Dual Core...

Actually the fan on the stick looks very good to me, as I want to cool some akward places on my motherboard.

Another try at Obsidian. Didn't dsome company try this with nVidia's SLI recently? I don't remember hearing much about it after the initial press release.

EDIT: I wanted to add, Scott, good work keeping the front page loaded with colorful and informative news. Excellent reporting, as always.
