Turions need more than just price reduction to compete with Yonah. Intel sells 2x more performance and will last same time on battery for the same price as Dothan.

Yessss!! For once, the info on price cuts got to me BEFORE I plunked money down!
I had been obsessing over how I would manage to afford two 270s at ~850$ a piece, but now I can do it at around 500$ each, or pay not-quite-as-much and get 275s instead! Score! Wewt! Time to get something together to wait till February on. :) |

The x2 line seems largely unaffected unfortunately, though any drop is nice.
If Fab 36 really is to thank for these recent price drops then I can't wait to see what prices will be once it really ramps. /pokes damage for some x1900 love |
