AMDs implementation of VM is apparently better than Intels (vanderpool), and its even built from it.
(they pulled an EMT64 clone of AMD64 a la intel, except in that case the hackjob copy is worse than the original) Its probably easier to do on the K8/HT platform anyways. ahhh, the return of the Amiga fanboy. ;) I like different and interesting OS's so the Amiga OS/workbench is interesting to me. UAE forever, baby!

Ah, running Mac OS 7 under Shapeshifter. In black and white on an A1200! Faster than the real thing...
I don't think that Intel have done IO virtualisation yet, but I'd have to talk to my mate who codes for Xen to find out more. |

One form of O is a monitor. One form of monitor is an HDMI, fair-rights busting monitor. Could you use I/O virtualization to output video to a "virtual" monitor? Could you then record the values of the screen pixels on this virtual monitor?
Surely not...
