So let me get this straight.

Word 2007 is $229.
Excel 2007 is $229.
Powerpoint 2007 is $229.

Office 2007 Home and Student is $149, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and OneNote (whatever that is), and you can install it on three computers.

Say what?

Now I'm wondering if this is just a strategy to sell corps on the Software Assurance, obviously the "delay" is purely a marketing issue, and not a technical one.

This boggles the mind. Business/corporate environments are traditionally slow to upgrade software, waiting for guinnea pigs to buy it first and find show-stopping bugs, and to update their software for the OS. Why on earth would they offer this to a slower-moving customer base FIRST?
