Scott's down in Dallas covering QuakeCon, so perhaps it's only fitting that this week's Friday Night Topic tackles the LAN party. I haven't been to a full-fledged LAN party in a while, but a couple of times a month, a few friends and I hole up in my office for a few hours of fragging, trash talking, beverage consumption, and occasionally cooperative gameplay. Even in a relatively small group, it's much more entertaining than playing alone.
Are any of you LAN gamers, or do you prefer to do your fragging in solitude? Also, have any of you been to QuakeCon? Are you there now?
