The folks at Shuttle are putting the finishing touches on a new addition to their X series of ultra-small-form-factor PCs, DailyTech has learned. Due to launch in November at $499 and up, the XPC X200 will bring official support for mobile Core 2 Duo processors in addition to the Core Duo and Celeron M. The machine will have an Intel 945GM chipset, integrated Intel GMA 950 graphics, and support for up to 2GB of RAM via DDR2-667 SO-DIMMs. More interestingly, the XPC X200 will offer the option of an internal NTSC TV tuner with an XPC Media Center Remote, allowing users to easily turn the XPC X200 into a tiny home theater PC. AOpen's MiniPC also offers a TV tuner and remote as options, but AOpen doesn't list Core 2 Duo processor support in the spec sheet for its machines. Apple's Mac minis lack not only Core 2 processors, but also integrated tuners.
