TR Forum Tidings: Core 2 and P965 overclocking

— 5:10 PM on October 10, 2006

This week's forum tidings post has to do once again with Intel's Core 2 processors and their accompanying P965 Express chipsets. This time, Danish gerbil Shintai has put together a short FAQ that answers some common questions regarding the ins and outs of overclocking a Core 2 Duo system with a P965 motherboard. The FAQ is currently a work in progress, but it already contains some helpful tips, like safe voltage setting recommendations and information about how to measure the Core 2 Duo's temperature via its internal thermal sensor. If you have a frequently-asked question to contribute or just want to ask for a tip or two, feel free to register a forums account and hop into the thread!
