Deal of the week: Dirt-cheap 20" wide-screen LCD

If you've always wanted to indulge yourself with a 20.1" wide-screen LCD monitor but haven't been able to fork over the mandatory $350+, Dell's new $289 UltraSharp E207WFP monitor should please you. Like the more expensive UltraSharp 2007WFP, the E207WFP features a 20.1" wide-screen panel with a resolution of 1680x1050. The E207WFP does lack the 2007WFP's built-in USB hub and S-Video and composite inputs. However, it makes up for those omissions by conserving the same 800:1 contrast and 300cd/m² brightness while cutting response time from 16ms to 5ms. Considering those perks come with an almost $100 reduced list price, the E207WFP looks like a fine deal indeed.

But that's not all. You can currently grab coupons off eBay that cut the E207WFP's price by a whole 20% at Dell's Home online store. We normally wouldn't recommend going through eBay for something like this, but the coupons cost just 99 cents, their seller's feedback is 99.5% positive, and $231.20 is pretty darn cheap for a 20.1" wide-screen LCD monitor. The coupons are all set to expire next Wednesday.
