Deal of the week: 25% off Zalman's VF900 Cu

Two weeks ago, our Friday deal post featured Zalman's CNPS9500 LED cooler, which was available at $42.99 instead of its regular price of $63.99. That deal is still around, but we've noticed another enticing offering on another Zalman product: the VF900 Cu graphics card cooler. Newegg currently has an instant rebate running that knocks the cooler's price down 25% to $31.99.

Now, the thought of replacing one's graphics card cooler may not appear particularly enticing to some, but the VF900 Cu sports an all-copper fin design with a speed-adjustable 80mm fan that can be made significantly quieter than the vast majority of VGA coolers out there. If you're trying to build a quiet system and haven't been lucky enough to get your hands on a graphics card with an already quiet cooler (such as Nvidia's new GeForce 8800 cards), the VF900 is a nice way to reduce those noise levels without breaking the bank. It's compatible with most recent graphics cards, too—check Zalman's website for details.
