Deal of the week: A 22" wide-screen LCD for $296

Dell introduced a couple of new wide-screen LCD monitors with 22" and 27" panel sizes at CES this week. The 22" model—dubbed UltraSharp E228WFP—launched at $329, but Dell isn't wasting any time selling it for full price. Only three days have passed since its introduction, and the company is already offering a $33 instant savings deal that brings the E228WFP's price down to just $296. Considering Dell charges $359 for the 20" UltraSharp 2007WFP right now, that's a definitely interesting deal.

Along with its 22" panel size, the UltraSharp E228WFP features a 1680x1050 resolution, 5ms response time, 300cd/m² luminosity, 800:1 contrast, 160°/160° viewing angles, VGA and DVI-D inputs, and VESA mounting support.
