Deal of the week: A GeForce 8800 for $289.99

The GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB came out just four days ago, and already some retailers are beginning to offer variants of the card for less than its suggested $299 price. One of those retailers is ZipZoomFly, which is currently selling an XFX GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB for $289.99 with free shipping. That's not a huge drop, but the card comes with a free copy of Activision's Call of Duty 2, and it has a "double lifetime" warranty that extends coverage to a card's second owner—a nice way to bump up the resale value. This model's only downside is that it's not factory "overclocked," so it runs at the default 500MHz core and 800MHz memory speeds. Considering how well the stock card performs in games like Half-Life 2: Episode One, Quake 4, or Rainbow Six: Vegas, though, this XFX model is a bargain nonetheless.
