OCZ hasn't been in the Secure Digital flash card market for long, but already the company is wandering beyond the realm of vanilla flash offerings. The company has announced a new type of Secure Digital flash card that combines three formats in one. The Trifecta Card Series is essentially made up of a standard SD card that acts as a receptacle for a microSD card and can plug into a standard USB port. Users therefore end up getting compatibility with both microSD and SD devices as well as the ability to just plug the card into pretty much any computer, should there be no flash card reader around. Trifecta cards are coming out with capacities of 1GB and 2GB and a read speed rating of 66X. OCZ says it will cover each card with a five-year warranty.
