Yesterday, we learned Microsoft had postponed the release of the Windows Vista version of Halo 2 by two weeks and the game is now scheduled to hit stores on May 22. Today, Shacknews has word Shadowrun, another anticipated Windows Vista title that will take advantage of Microsoft's Games For Windows – Live network, has gone gold for both the PC and Xbox 360.
Shadowrun is a cyberpunk-themed first-person shooter that will inherit some RPG elements from the original Shadowrun pen-and-paper RPG. Microsoft Game Studios says the title will be released on May 29, at which point users of PCs and Xbox 360 consoles will be able to play together in cross-platform skirmishes. Shacknews has a bunch of screenshots of the game up on this page.
