PC BioShock demo to roll out today

— 6:00 AM on August 20, 2007

Less than a week ago, 2K Games announced that a PC demo of BioShock, its upcoming first-person action title, would most likely be released before the end of the month. According to a report by Shacknews, 2K Games has now revealed that the PC demo will become available later today—at around 7 PM EST, to be exact. That'll give PC gamers a chance to sample the game a few hours before its U.S. retail release on August 21, although it looks like a sturdy broadband connection will be needed: Shacknews says the BioShock PC demo will weigh in at an impressive 1.84GB. It will be available over on FileShack.
