High-efficiency power supplies are all the rage these days, but it's not too common to see PSUs rated for 80% or higher efficiency selling as part of lowly case and power supply bundles. Breaking convention, Antec has announced that its line of New Solution Series enclosures has now been updated with 80 Plus-certified PSUs. As its name implies, the certification guarantees that the power supplies operate with at least 80% efficiency at loads of 20%, 50%, and 100%.
Antec says New Solution case and PSU bundles that have benefited from the upgrade include the NSK1380, NSK1480, NSK2480, NSK3480, NSK4480, NSK4480B (black), and NSK6580. According to the company, none of the enclosures have gone up in price as a result of the change.
