Big Blue gets bigger, opens up Big Iron

OK, I'm playing catch-up on the Itty Bitty Machines news here. First, NeWs dAwG shot me some mail with this link to a story about IBM's plans to build a massive new $5 billion fab in New York capable of producing .10-micron chips. Or so says the dAwG. I can't read a word of it. (However, this version is more helpful.)

Meanwhile, Harry sent in this story about IBM choosing to bundle Red Hat Linux with all of its new servers, including mainframes. Anybody know how to fit an AGP card into an IBM mainframe? I'm plotting a review.
