We reported earlier that an unannounced $399 PlayStation 3 was starting to peek its head out, having been spotted in both leaked Best Buy documents and on a British e-tailer's website. Shacknews now reports that an unannounced Xbox 360 Arcade console—a supposedly enhanced version of the existing $279.99 Xbox 360 Core system—has shown up on Amazon. Indeed, the popular online retailer is listing an Xbox 360 Arcade for $279.99, the same price as the existing Core model.
No specifications are listed, but Shacknews quotes an Ars Technica report that says the Arcade console will have HDMI output, a wireless controller, a memory card, and five bundled Xbox Live Arcade games.
