AMD's Radeon HD 4850 is already an excellent deal at $199.99, but how about $154.99? No online retailers sell it directly for that amount just yet, but Newegg lets customers accumulate rebates and coupons on Sapphire's flavor of the Radeon HD 4850 to effectively reach the same price.
Normally running $199.99, the card is subject to a $5 instant rebate, a $20-off coupon for TR readers, and a $20 mail-in rebate. To get the $20 off coupon, just enter the promotional code "VGA62620" without the quotes. Newegg also offers free shipping, which means that you should be able to order the card for only $174.99. You can then try your luck with the mail-in rebate to get another 20 bucks off, potentially taking the net price down to $154.99. Not bad for a card that came out just over a week ago.
We'd also like to mention Western Digital's Caviar SE16 640GB hard drive, which Newegg currently offers for $94.99 shipped. That's the cheapest we've seen anyone charge for this drive, which is now just under the 15-cent-per-gigabyte mark. Also not bad for a TR Editor's Choice award-winning product.
