Athlon / Duron overclock seal

— 8:54 AM on December 3, 2000

There were only 500 of these at last weekend's "Custom PC World 2000" in Japan but due to strong consumer demand, AKIBA PC Hotline! is reporting that Japanese Melco has decided to sell 1,000 sets of their cool "Athlon / Duron overclock seal" as a limited run. Each set will come with 3 seals for a total of 3,000. These labels must have super heat resistance because the Socket A processors get mighty hot. All's you gotta do is put this label on the four L1 golden bridges of a Thunderbird or Duron to open up a world of overclocking fun sans lead pencil or electrically-conductive pen. Pictures are here and here. Enjoy your Sunday, everyone.
