AOpen's "Sweet Kiss"

— 9:15 AM on December 9, 2000

Some like it hot. Proving once again that we live in a post-iMac age, AOpen follows up on their military grade black beauty motherboards with the limited edition "AOpen AX3S Pro (Sweet Kiss)." Say what? The "Pink Lady" is an AOpen AX3S Pro i815E motherboard featuring the DIE-HARD BIOS with a pink PCB. Think I'm kidding? Check out the pictures of the retail package, cart, motherboard (top), motherboard (back), heat sink, and emblem complete with a kiss mark. According to this AKIBA Hotline! article, "Sweet Kiss" first turned some heads during World PC Expo 2000 in October and there will only be 2,000 of these motherboards available for sale in Japan (don't know if and how many the US market will get). Not quite the eighth wonder of the world but what color does AOpen have in store for us next?
