Oh the irony

Poor Napster is in court trying to protect its trademark cat logo again. This time it's Sport Service that's selling Napster merchandise through NapsterStore.com. You may remember earlier in the year The Offspring did something similar, selling Napster t-shirts through their web site. Sport Service appears to have taken things a step further offering everything from shirts to hats with decals and outerwear coming soon. Does Napster realize just how hypocritical this makes them look?

"Sport Service has demonstrated a bad faith attempt to profit," Napster said in the suit, which seeks an injunction and unspecified damages.
Ahh, so Napster's acting is *good* faith so that makes them ripping off artists ok. Now I understand. You can check out the full story over at CNet.
