A sneak peek at a Gigabyte Micro ATX P55 motherboard

Another P55 motherboard has made its way to the Benchmarking Sweatshop, this time in Micro ATX form. We first saw Gigabyte's GA-P55M-UD4 at Computex earlier this summer. Here's a closer look:

Micro ATX, but still loaded with goodies

Intel's Lynnfield-ready LGA1156 socket

The blue SATA ports hook into the chipset, while the white ones are tied to a Marvell SATA 6Gbps controller

With a slotted x1 slot, there's room for three PCI Express graphics cards

Yup, it's a port cluster—a full one, at that

Given the mid-range nature of the P55 chipset, I expect we'll see it pop up in more than a few Micro ATX designs. I can't say much more about either the P55 or this particular motherboard just yet, though.
