The doodoo on Voodoo

Kenn at the FiringSquad has made an admirable effort to discern exactly what about 3dfx's recently announced VSA-100 architecture is new. In other words, how will the Voodoo4 and 5 cards really differ from the Voodoo3? Kenn corners Scott Sellers for a closer look at the innovations in the VSA-100 chip, and he comes away with a few important clarifications. Good stuff.

While you're feeling the effects of Voodoo magic, you may also want to dig into part three of Beyond3D's look at the T-Buffer. As always, Beyond3D goes into the technical niceties of 3D a little deeper than your average site; that's why I like 'em.
