Friday night topic: The worst summer movie season?

Man, this year's crop of summer movies seems to be... awful. I'm not excited about much of anything beyond Toy Story 3, and the only thing I've cared to see so far is Iron Man 2. Is this the worst summer movie season ever? Is there any hope for something like The Last Airbender to save it, or will Shamalayan succumb to the trend Voldenuit has so ably charted? (Only at TR, folks.) Discuss.
