Online retailers have chosen Valentine's Day as the occasion to promote a fresh wave of bargains this week. We've singled out a handful of particularly sweet deals from both Newegg in the U.S. and NCIX north of the border.
For an overview of what's going on at Newegg, you'll want to check out the site's Valentine Day sale. One of the deals showcased is Seagate's 1.5TB Barracuda 7200.11 hard drive, which is on sale for $59.99 shipped if you enter the coupon code EMCKHJJ34. Buying storage at four cents a gigabyte never hurts.
We also see that OCZ's Vertex 2 120GB solid-state drive is available for $176.99 with free shipping after both a $40 instant rebate and a $30 mail-in rebate. While we don't particularly trust mail-in rebates, $206.99 isn't a bad price for this drive to begin with. Similarly, Newegg offers Sapphire's Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics card for $99.99 shipped after a $20 coupon code (SAPPHIRE232) and a $20 mail-in rebate.
At NCIX up in Canada, Western Digital's 2TB Caviar Green hard drive is on sale for a cool $79.99, while Corsair's Graphite Series 600T is still available at a substantial discount ($124.99). That OCZ Vertex 2 SSD we found at Newegg is discounted here, also—for $179.99 after a mail-in rebate.
