Right on schedule, the multiplayer demo of Crysis 2 has become available. You can grab the 1.6GB installer right now from EA's website, GeForce.com, and Shacknews. As we reported earlier this month, the demo features two maps, Skyline and Pier 17, as well as two multiplayer modes: Team Instant Action and Crash Site. Up to 12 players can fight it out on each server.

Being able to customize your character's nanosuit as you progress up the skill ladder definitely sounds interesting, especially if it can spice up the gameplay. Newbies might want to jump in now before everyone starts getting too far ahead, though.
