We've chosen the winners for our in-game screenshot contest. There were a lot of great entries; some made us laugh, while others had us gaping in awe of the visuals possible with modern games. Since we only have a pair of MSI's N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II graphics cards to give away, we had to settle on two entries.
The funniest shot of the lot came from lazydc, whose flashlight nicely framed a zombie thong in Left 4 Dead 2. Priceless.
We had a little more trouble deciding on the most beautiful screenshot of the bunch. After much deliberation, crazybus's shot of the Pagani Zonda in Need for Speed: Shift won out. There were plenty of breathtaking images among the submissions, but this one is particularly well composed and looks absolutely gorgeous.
Honorable mention goes to Vulgotha, whose out-of-bounds shot from Halo: Reach is a sight to behold, even if it's mostly the sky box. Our two grand-prize winners will take home the MSI GTX 560 Ti, which offers faster-than-stock clock speeds and a quiet dual-fan cooler. They'll also get download codes for Just Cause 2 and Mafia II. We have an additional 33 game codes for our other favorites, which were submitted by the following:
Vulgotha, archevilangel, cyclonebee, Derfer, KoolAidMan, LegitMaan, lilbug4apet, Bob, Jon, MrBojangles, pot, RA1D, Rand, thesmileman, absinthexl, bean7, Blazex, Crusty Magic, garadius, homerdog, jodiuh, Looney, mduncan62, mmmmmdonuts21, Obsidian, PopcornMachine, Sheldomaus, SHOES, spiked_mistborn, SuperSpy, tviceman, Vegetto61, and Zenphic
If you're one of our winners, please use the forum messaging feature to send Adam "Inkling" Eiberger a private message. He's our biz guy and will get you sorted out. Winners have 72 hours to claim their prizes.
We'd like to thank MSI for kicking in the graphic cards and game codes that made this contest possible. Thanks also go out to Visual Haven forum moderators Dposcorp and SpotTheCat for keeping an eye on the contest thread. Finally, kudos to everyone who took a few screenshots for the contest.
