The gravy train of free hardware continues. In our latest giveaway, we're doling out one XFX PSU a week for three weeks. This week, we're giving away the XFX Pro Series 850W, which you can check out below.
This beastly unit pipes power over a single 12V rail and carries a laundry list of certifications, including 80 Plus Bronze, Nvidia SLI, and AMD CrossFire. Cooling is provided by a purportedly quiet 135-mm fan, which must pretty effective considering the PSU is supposed to be capable of sustaining a continuous output of 850W at operating temperatures up to 50°C.
Nearly 700 gerbils entered the contest and answered our skill-testing questions. From those entries, we've drawn one winner at random. Congratulations, Samuel Adams (seriously), you're the new owner of an XFX PSU. Samuel should have an email from our biz guy, Adam Eiberger, waiting in his inbox. If the prize isn't claimed within 72 hours, we'll draw another winner.
Thanks to XFX for kicking in the PSU for this giveaway, and to everyone who entered. If you didn't win, don't fret. We'll begin week two of our PSU giveaway tomorrow. Stay tuned.
