Sony will release the new Clié PEG-N700C in Japan on April 7. It features a 320 X 320 high resolution TFT color display and is powered by the PalmOS 3.5, DragonBall VZ 33MHz, and 8MB DRAM / 8MB flash RAM. Other gimmicks include a jog dial and the "Magic Gate" memory stick (up to 64MB); more details are here. Sony claims that battery life will last for 11 hours of non-stop music play or 15 days 'normal use.' Popular programs include Navin' You Pocket v1.0, Palmscape v4.0, Audio Player (MP3 playback), and gMovie (to watch TV). A Bluetooth adapter will follow in June. There is a PDF available in Japanese. PC Watch has pictures here, here, here, and here.
