That's right: those who attend the TR BBQ VIII this weekend will have a chance to win a motherboard with an integrated Brazos APU, the Gigabyte E350N-USB3, thanks to the generosity of the folks at AMD. Here's a shot of a bunch of those boards stacked cheerfully in the BBQ's beachside setting. I believe six of them will be up for grabs in various ways, as drfish explains here. You could win one if you can make your way up to beautiful Holland, Michigan this weekend.
I'd say more, but I've got to go pack. I'm driving up there today and will be making my first appearance at this excellent TR community tradition.
In sorta-kinda related news, last night's short-notice TR meetup here in the KC metro had a nice turnout, all of the highest quality sorts of individuals. Thanks again to everybody who turned up. Lots of engaging conversations were had, although the time seemed too short. I've attached a quick gallery of pictures from the event below. Folks are welcome to identify themselves if they wish. I've gotta hit the road!
