Valve's Steam Autumn Sale is in full swing, and today's deals have just gone up. The hottest one is perhaps Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which is available at half price for $24.99. That's shockingly affordable for a three-month-old title that has earned so many accolades from critics (not to mention yours truly). If you haven't played it yet, you really ought to.
Other titles on sale include Dead Island, which is also available for $24.99; the Serious Sam HD Double Pack, which Steam has listed for only $2.99; and classics like Grand Theft Auto IV and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, which can be nabbed for $4.99 a piece.
Those might be the highlights, but there are many more games on sale, both in the "today's deals" section and throughout the Steam catalog. For example, a number of Bethesda titles are discounted, including Rage for $44.99. Valve's sale on its own games lets you grab Portal 2 for $14.99 and both Left 4 Dead games for $9.99 each. Also, if you'd like to get brushed up on the Max Payne series before the third game comes out, you can nab each of the first two games for $6.69 in the Rockstar Games catalog.
