I work at a small company. We need a machine to do video editing on. It is an all PC place but there is real danger that we will buy an Apple G4/733 with DVD-R. It’s the Ultimate in the Apple store.He's certainly got the basics right, but maybe we can offer some concrete suggestions for pre-built video editing workstations from Dell, Gateway, Compaq, and the like. Of course, there's always the Visionator, but it may be hard to sell the boss on that one. Any suggestions?
Will a kind-hearted soul please offer an alternative from Dell (don’t include a screen) or else I will be sitting next to a Mac for the next few years.
I have heard that there are problems with the DVD-R on Mac, is this true?
