Oh my; it appears some new graphics hardware is on the way from Nvidia. Who would have thought?
Okay, so it's no secret that Nvidia is going to have to release the rest of its 600-series GeForce lineup sooner or later. We may be close to the next launch, though, judging by the latest post on the official GeForce Facebook page. It's actually not so much a post as a teaser image and a single phrase: "It's coming."
The image is deliberately murky, but if those grills at the bottom are any indication, we might be looking at some sort of double-slot graphics card with the port cluster facing the camera. The gleaming circular nubs at the sides might be heatpipes. All of a sudden, I'm reminded of the GeForce GTX 480's stock cooler. Could this be another high-end offering?
I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.
