The first Crysis 3 footage is out! This isn't the full trailer we were promised last week, though—sorry to disappoint. Rather, it's a 19-second teaser meant to get everyone psyched up for the real trailer, which is due out on April 24.
Either way, the video gives us a nice sense of what to expect:
It looks like a fancy bow and arrows will join your arsenal of weapons. If I were a betting man, I'd say that sets the stage for some stealth gameplay with loads of sneaking around after dark. Hey, why not? Thief did the same thing back in the 90s, and it worked rather well. Plus I guess this time, players will have the Crysis nanosuit's cloaking technology to aid their sneaking.
Don't miss last week's coverage for more details about Crysis 3 and a look at the first screenshots. The game is due out next year on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
