Thought Amazon would let Apple's new iPhone 5 hog the spotlight? Think again. The e-tailer turned tablet peddler has rounded out last week's Kindle lineup refresh with another new addition. And believe it or not, that latest offering is priced at just $5. Take a look:
Too bad Amazon had to forgo thinness and mobility to hit the lower price point. The text-to-speech functionality seems a little sluggish, too. I'd probably get sick of it after a while.
Oh well. At least the Wendell doesn't require a $29 adapter to work with old chargers and docking stations.
