Deal of the week: Storage, graphics, gaming, and other goodies

— 5:21 PM on March 22, 2013

We've got a handful of nifty storage deals for you this week—starting with Seagate's Barracuda 7200.14 3TB hard drive, which is on sale for only $119.99 shipped at Newegg. (That's equivalent to four cents per gigabyte, for those keeping track.) The list price is actually $139.99, but you can take 20 bucks off by entering the promo code "EMCXTVV22" on the checkout page.

On the solid-state front, Newegg lets you nab Samsung's 840 Series 120GB solid-state drive for $99.99 shipped, a couple of bucks cheaper than at Amazon. However, Amazon has the best price on the 250GB and 500GB models—$171.54 and $329.73, respectively, versus $189.99 and $369.99 at Newegg.

We've also noticed that MSI's Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition graphics card is on sale for only $89.99 after a $25 mail-in rebate at Newegg. Shipping is gratis, and the card comes with a free copy of Far Cry 3, which would normally set you back another 50 bucks on Steam.

Speaking of games, GameFly has some nice deals on last year's PC blockbusters. You can nab Borderlands 2 for $19.99, Dishonored for $23.99, F1 2012 for $15.99, Syndicate for $4.99, Assassin's Creed III for $34.99, and Battlefield 3 Premium Edition for $32.99.

Oh, and my sci-fi novella, Fluke: Langara's Prize, is still available for free until tomorrow at 2:00 AM, Central Time.

We'll wrap things up with a few Canadian deals for our readers in the Great White North. NCIX currently offers Seagate's 3TB 'cuda for $129.99 CAD, Samsung's 840 Series 500GB SSD for $348.99 CAD, and Corsair's Obsidian Series 650D enclosure for $149.99 CAD. You'll find more bargains on NCIX's Spring Sale Event page.
