AMD's Never Settle push has seen Radeon graphics cards bundled with some pretty high-profile games: Crysis 3, BioShock Infinite, Far Cry 3, Tomb Raider... And apparently, there's plenty more where that came from. In an interview with Heise.de, AMD Global Channel Sales chief Roy Taylor hinted that Battlefield 4 may be part of the next Never Settle deal. The article is in German, but Google's automated translation makes the exchange fairly intelligible:
c't: Battlefield also rumored to be part of a future four-Never Settle-game bundles?
Taylor: It's not official yet. But it was presented at the Game Developer Conference, and the AMD Gaming Evolved logo already appeared online in the context of the game. Your readers can expect that Battlefield will be part of a 4-Never Settle bundles.
Google Translate weirdly misplaced the "4" in both the question and the last sentence (it should go after Battlefield in both cases), but still, that looks like a pretty straightforward confirmation. Of course, we don't yet know when the offer will take effect—or what cards the game will be bundled with.
EA DICE unveiled Battlefield 4 at the Game Developers Conference last month. The studio released both screenshots and a lengthy video, showing off the war-themed shooter's explosive gameplay, gruffly masculine characters, and state-of-the-art graphics. The game is due out this fall, and unless EA has changed plans since last year, a public beta will precede the retail release. (Thanks to X-bit labs for the link.)
