Another reminder for those who missed it: we return to the eastern shore of Lake Michigan for the tenth annual TR BBQ event on Saturday, August 17. If you're anywhere in the contiguous 48 states, you have no excuse. This is the year to attend.
In addition to the hardware swap meet, the BBQ has grown in recent years as we've brought ever more loot from our sponsors to give away. That tradition continues this year. We still have some of these that haven't been awarded to folks in our summer giveaways:
Also, I'm choosing the best candidates from the bounty of Damage Labs to hand out.
I really need to get rid of a lot of stuff. The only question, really, is how much stuff I can fit into the car to haul up there. There will be video cards, regardless of whatever else happens. This I know.
So we're hoping you can be bribed into coming, although you'll want to stay for the smoked ribs, fireworks, microbrew sampling, engrossing conversations, and the fireside chat on the beach, whose legend involves a flamethrower and deep TR secrets—and grows every year.
Seriously, folks, do what you have to in order to make it!
