Deal of the week: bargains on SSDs, graphics, and water cooling

Man, it's been a long week. So here I am, mailing in the deals post with another bulleted list.

  • Oh, look, cheap SSDs! TigerDirect has the sweetest deal this week: Seagate's 600 SSD 240GB is down to only $150 before a $20 mail-in rebate. That's fitty-four cents per gig, folks. We were impressed with this drive when we reviewed it in May, and it's a nice deal even without the rebate. Free shipping today, too.
  • SSDs go nicely with low-power mechanical sidekicks like WD's Green 3TB. The Green normally sells for $130, but coupon code EMCWWWR28 knocks $20 off the price. Total cost: $110 with free two-day shipping.
  • Insert awkward transition to MSI's TwinFrozr Radeon HD 7850 2GB. This card should be faster than the R7 260X overall, but it's discounted to the same $140 asking price. There's also a mail-in rebate worth $30, dropping the effective sticker to $110.

And now, a little love for shoppers north of the border. NCIX's Action Packed Sale Event has the requisite SSD bargin: Adata's SX900 256GB for only $150. There's also a nice deal on Thermaltake's Water 2.0 Extreme, a double-wide, dual-fan water cooler slashed to $80 before a $25 mail-in rebate.
