Remember Just Cause 2? The open-world mayhem simulator was loads of fun, but it was a strictly single-player affair. Or, at least, it used to be. As Polygon reports, a team of modders has managed to bring multiplayer to the world of Panau. Check out their launch trailer:
Well, that certainly looks... big. The modders say JC2-MP supports "dozens, hundreds, and even thousands of players," and they add that "each server will have a unique experience specific to that server."
JC2-MP is available now on Steam as a free download. I believe you'll need the original Just Cause 2, as well, which will set you back all of $2.99 on Steam right now. (Expensive, I know.) Considering how enjoyable the single-player game is, I might have to give this multiplayer mod a try myself.
