Watch Dogs was one of the most anticipated games of 2013. Then, in October, it was delayed until spring 2014. Ubisoft said more time was required to polish and tune the title. The developer's work is almost complete, though. The new "story trailer" reveals that Watch Dogs has been rescheduled for a May 27 release.
The trailer looks pretty good, too. Cue the embed:
Ok, so the setup isn't terribly original. But the narrative looks like it might have some potential. Fingers crossed.
Normally, I'd complain about the trailer's lack of gameplay footage—most of the scenes appears to be taken from cinematic sequences. However, Ubisoft has been hyping Watch Dogs for a while now. We've already seen plenty of in-game action in previous trailers. At this point, I just want to play the game for myself.
