We're coming into the home stretch on our initial subscriptions push, and once more, I want to say thank you to those of you who have signed up. We truly appreciate your support, and we'll work to continue to be worthy of it.
Remember, the top 10 subscribers as of noon Central time tomorrow will get to choose from one of these three items:
Here's where the top 10 currently stands as I write:
We'll have to see if the standings change as we approach the deadline. I'm still hoping to treat somebody to some tasty KC barbecue.
On another note, I mentioned when I introduced this crazy scheme that we had a bunch of ideas about features we could add to the subscription perks in the future. We still have some work to do cleaning up bugs after the launch, including an annoying intermittent problem where folks aren't staying logged in all of the time. Those things will occupy our attention for a while, I suspect. But as long as you're willing to be patient with us when it comes to implementing these things, I'd like to talk a little bit about the possibilities for the future.
Here are a few of the ideas we've had on our scratchpad for quite a while as potential subscriber goodies. See what you think.
Any of these sound particularly useful? Or do you have other things in mind that you'd like to see us attempt? Let us know in the comments below.
