The wearable computing revolution continues. Credit Patent Bolt for spotting that Google has filed a patent to embed tiny cameras within contact lenses:

Today's new patent revelations cover the integration of tiny cameras into their future smart contact lenses. The user will be able to control the camera through a sophisticated system using the owner's unique blinking patterns.
Beyond being able to photograph and video record what you see, the contact lenses could go a long way toward helping the visually impaired.
