I was going to write up another snippet of Computex news, but things have slowed down considerably since earlier this week, and the pickings are a little slim. The E3 gaming show starts next week, though, and at least one developer has started hyping its new hotness for that event. Techland has released a fresh trailer for Dying Light, a first-person action game that combines zombie killing and parkour. The game looks like the love child of Dead Island and Mirror's Edge, and, well, see for yourself:
You have my attention, Techland.
The trailer is dominated by melee combat, but there's also a little shooting to add variety to the violence. One snippet also shows a grappling hook. I just hope the slow-motion effects from the trailer are in the actual game. The only thing better than blending free running and finishing moves is being able to execute them in slow motion.
Dying Light is coming to the PC in February 2015.
