Gearbox has set a release date for the next chapter in the Borderlands series—which, technically, is the previous chapter. You know, being a pre-sequel and all. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be out on October 14 across North America and on October 17 elsewhere in the world.
Following the new custom for these kinds of announcements, Gearbox has posted a new trailer for the game:
Yeah, okay. I fully expect the game to be fun, but man, that's gotta be one of the most grating trailer scores ever. I'd even take dubstep over this.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be set on Pandora's moon some time between the first two Borderlands titles. Apparently, players will get a chance to witness Handsome Jack's rise to infamy first-hand. You'll be able to get the game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows.
