I never managed to get into Alan Wake, but I did thoroughly enjoy Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which I wrote about here. The futuristic film noir art style is great—very Blade Runner—and the game gives you considerable freedom to explore the world and tackle missions as you choose. If you haven't already, I'd definitely grab it.
That goes doubly for System Shock 2, which is just one of the best PC games ever. Evar. For $1.49, there's just no reason not to pick it up.
