It's been two years to the day since we first wrote about Survivarium, a post-apocalyptic MMOFPS by the creators of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
Now, the team at Vostok Games has more than screenshots and development videos to offer us. Participants are being recruited for the Survivarium beta, and there are 1,000 invites up for grabs at Rock, Paper, Shotgun. Signup involves providing your email address and quietly hoping that the keys don't run out before you hit the submit button. (Keys are being handed out on a first come, first served basis.)
According to the latest developer update, which was published on June 30, Survivarium is pretty far along, and Vostok Games is now busy working on the game's international release. "We have been working on the game at an almost flat-out pace the last few months to ready the client for the Russian OBT," the update says. "Today, we have reached our goal; having said that, we are currently putting together the plans for the international release - the negotiations with potential publishers will continue, so as the development of the game."
