Most of us have thought that ATI's R200 GPU will receive the Radeon 2 brand name, but PROM has an unconfirmed report that ATI will be marketing the R200 as the 'Radeon 8500.' Also, there will be a Radeon 7500, which has a strong possibility of being the RV200. If true, this is similar to what NVIDIA and 3dfx have done to distinguish their cards. There is no official confirmation of a name change, but look for ATI to make an announcement about the R200 soon. In the meantime, this is simply gossip on a Sunday afternoon.
M3DZone has a list of alleged third party makers of ATI video cards.
