Which WinXP: Home or Pro?

— 12:43 AM on August 24, 2001

The guys at Ars have put together a quick comparsion of the two desktop versions of MS's upcoming Windows XP. There are some notable differences between the two editions of the OS that will make enthusiasts do a double-take before choosing between them. For instance, the Home version won't support dual processors. Like it or not, WinXP is probably the future of desktop OSes for the next couple of years, so it's worth knowing about the different flavors.
