Deal of the week: Ultra-wide IPS for $750, 16GB DDR4-2666 for $190, plus more

Clever intro for another weekly deals post? Ain't nobody got time fo dat.

  • Ultra-wide monitors seem to be everywhere these days, including the discount aisle. Newegg is offering LG's 34UM94-P 34" IPS display for just $749.99 after promo code EMCAPNV34. This 21:9 monster has a 3440x1440 resolution and decent panel specs. It's also loaded with connectivity: one DisplayPort, two HDMI, two Thunderbolt, and an integrated USB 3.0 hub.
  • I've been using Corsair's Vengeance LPX DDR4 memory in my Haswell-E test rig for months, and the very same 4 x 4GB kit is now on sale at Newegg for $189.99. The kit is rated for speeds up to 2666 MT/s, a fair bit faster than the processor's default, but there's no need to bump the voltage beyond the stock 1.2V. The standard-height heat spreaders also steer clear of larger aftermarket coolers.
  • This week's highlighted SSD deals hit both ends of the spectrum. At the low end, Mushkin's Enhanced ECO2 240GB is marked down to $79.99—but only until noon Pacific Time today. After that, the price goes up by $20. For those with deeper wallets, Samsung's 850 EVO 1TB is discounted to $359.99 at Amazon. That's probably a limited-time offer, too, but there's no indication of when it expires.

Those are the deals that jumped out at me this morning, but there are surely others I've missed. Add any that you spot in the comments below.
